Fishing the Texas Gulf Coastal Bend is as good as it gets. You can experience the excitement of battling trophy Speckled Trout, Redfish & Flounder year-round. During the summer months of May through September you’re probably going to see the largest quantity of fish in the bays, but in the winter from December through April is typically the time of year when the biggest trophy trout are caught. Baffin Bay is known for the trophy trout caught there during the winter months. Also in the winter, the big 20-60 pound black drum are really biting. October and November is when the flounder make their fall run. So take your pick, Captain Gordo is committed to putting you on the fish.
